WORLD MISSIONS WEEK AT CATG
November 10th-November 17th, 2024, is World Missions Week at CATG! Starting with Persecuted Church Sunday, and ending with a focus on global missions at our Sunday Conference, we'll spend a week in November focused on prayer and the expansion of the Gospel across the world.

THE PERSECUTED CHURCH
November 10th is Persecuted Church Sunday. Consider the courage and sorrow of our brothers and sisters in Christ, who suffer around the world for their faith. GOSPEL BARRIERS: War and terrorism are common; human rights and the rule of law are relatively limited.
CHINA

GOSPEL BARRIERS: Religious freedom is low; internet content is subjected to censorship.
IRAQ
POPULATION: 40,047,594 – MAIN RELIGION: ISLAM – UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: 25/35
GOSPEL BARRIERS: There is a low level of state-wide peace; geographical remoteness limits the flow of information.
SOMALIA
POPULATION: 15,768,471 – MAIN RELIGION: ISLAM – UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: 20/22
GOSPEL BARRIERS: Religious freedom is low; individual rights and freedoms are heavily impinged.
SYRIA
POPULATION: 17,382,318 – MAIN RELIGION: ISLAM – UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: 19/38
GOSPEL BARRIERS: Domestic and international conflicts are ongoing; human rights are not protected and the rule of law is not enforced.
TURKEY
POPULATION: 84,248,750 – MAIN RELIGION: ISLAM – UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: 45/68
GOSPEL BARRIERS: There are high levels of violence perpetrated by the government; individual rights and freedoms are heavily impinged.
THAILAND
POPULATION: 67,740,528 – MAIN RELIGION: BUDDHISM – UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS: 78/113
GOSPEL BARRIERS: Freedom of expression is limited; individual rights and freedoms are heavily impinged.

SUNDAY MISSIONS CONFERENCE
The week will end on November 17th, with our WORLD MISSIONS CONFERENCE: This three-part conference will include worship and teaching, and fuel you as you seek to spread the Gospel. Come for all 3 sessions, or just the ones you’re able to, and stay afterwards for lunch.9:00 AM | Session 1: “The Task Remaining”10:00 AM | Session 2: “Worship & Missions”11:30 AM | Session 3: “Global Christian life”12:30 PM | Church Family Lunch!!FAQ: Each session is distinct - you’ll benefit from all three, but you can also just attend the ones you can!Meanwhile, your kids will be on an epic and interactive world missions adventure in a one-day VBS-style extravaganza! Kids, potty-trained through 5th Grade, will have a rotation of rooms, snacks, crafts, and games as they learn about the global mission of God in a Kids at the Gates morning like no other! FAQ: Your kids can check in for all three sessions, or just for your selected sessions! FAQ: Toddler Camp will still be open for 0-pre-potty-trained.
